Canvas of Emotion Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Mental Health Counselor, holding a licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LPC. This role will be performed remotely, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. Our team operates within a community health clinic model, which means that although you will be working from home, you will be an integral part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team. • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the underlying causes of clients’ challenges and develop tailored therapeutic plans aimed at enhancing their mental wellness.
• Direct clients toward appropriate referrals, which may include collaborating with psychiatrists or advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) for further evaluation as warranted.
• Offer clients practical strategies to address low self-esteem, family conflicts, substance use dependencies, and suicidal ideation, empowering them to navigate their path to recovery.
• Maintain meticulous records for each client, analyzing behavioral and clinical data to refine treatment methods that resonate with individual needs.
• Engage proactively with clients’ family members to observe treatment responses and adapt strategies accordingly, thereby ensuring a comprehensive support system.

The client base at Canvas of Emotion includes individuals from diverse backgrounds facing various challenges, such as mental health disorders, substance use issues, and other socio-economic stressors. Our focus is on providing accessible and equitable mental health services that respect and honor each client's unique experiences and cultural identity.

• A valid Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Washington.
• Must be eligible to work within the United States, with a clean history regarding medical malpractice claims verified by a third-party source.

We value professionals who possess clinical experience in community health settings, particularly working with clients facing substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health disorders. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy techniques will also be beneficial in this role.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
