Job Description
- Provide professional phone assistance to callers through a criteria-based prior authorization process.
- Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials.
- Conduct data entry and navigate multiple computer applications while utilizing two screens.
- Possess Pharmacy Tech Certification or state licensure required.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Work independently in a productivity-driven role.
- Complete at least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in an administrative support function.
Critical Information
- This is a fully remote position with a dedicated workspace required.
- Training hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST.
- Regular shift after training is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST.
Education/Licenses Needed
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
- National pharmacy technician certification or state registration/certification/licensure per state regulations.
