Job Title: DAI Support Subject Matter Expert (SME)


Location: Virginia Beach, VA (fully remote position, on-site travel may be required)


Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Role: Provide Tier 1 end-user helpdesk support and functional expertise for Navy financial systems operating within the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI)/Oracle Federal Financials environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support
  • Develop and maintain training materials based on recurring user issues and support trends
  • Contribute to reporting and business intelligence development to address gaps in existing analytics
  • Maintain accurate, current records within the ticketing and issue-tracking systems
  • Maintain working knowledge of related financial system functions, including procurement, cost accounting, and time and labor processes


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years of experience with DAI/Oracle Federal Financials,
  • Expertise in Order to Cash (O2C) and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)/Business Intelligence
  • General working knowledge of related DAI functions including User Management (UMX), Budget to Report, Cost Accounting, and Oracle Time and Labor (OTL)
  • Customer service and troubleshooting skills; comfortable working Tier 1 helpdesk triage
  • Must be eligible to work fully remote with periodic on-site availability in Virginia Beach, VA
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for NIPRNET/CAC access, and able to pass a background check
