The specific role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor is designed for a full-time commitment, primarily scheduled during weekday daytime hours from Monday through Friday. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Steadfast Support Clinic, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the needs of assigned populations, ensuring effective communication and a supportive environment for clients.
• Conducting family and child counseling sessions for clients who meet medical necessity and DSM V diagnostic criteria, facilitating necessary interventions and support.
• Developing and facilitating psycho-educational groups, including parenting classes and workshops as required, which help to empower clients and their families.
• Completing necessary case documentation, including program forms and statistical data, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and practices.
• Maintaining accurate and timely charting, reports, and relevant statistical information for assigned clients, which are critical to effective service delivery and continuity of care.
• Meeting contractual obligations by billing a specified number of reimbursable hours per week, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and adherence to organizational goals.

In this role, you will primarily work with children and community clients, providing therapeutic interventions that promote mental health and emotional well-being. Your expertise will contribute to the treatment of various presenting issues, including behavioral disorders, anxiety, depression, and family-related challenges. The goal is to foster resilience and improve overall quality of life for our clients.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in fields such as Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or another related discipline.
• A valid license in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseload effectively and track all necessary documentation.
• Self-motivated and proactive in action, particularly regarding billing hours and timely documentation.

We require a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the mental health field. Experience with outpatient settings, particularly working with children and families, is essential for success in this role.
