If you love helping patients and being part of a fast paced, supportive team... we want to meet you!
You would be responsible to operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body portions according to physician specifications. Assists physicians in carrying out examinations by preparing contrast media, assisting in sterile procedures, and the like. Outpatient setting.
What you will do:
  • Performs general radiography. Properly positions patients in order to obtain desired diagnostic results, places protective lead shields on patients, and sets correct technical exposure.
  • Performs a variety of related clerical tasks such as retrieving previous films, filing, answering phones, relaying messages, completing encounter forms and scheduling
  • Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
  • Performs quality checks on equipment in accordance with department procedure. Produces the highest quality radiographs and digital images with the lowest practical dose of radiation in accordance with procedure ordered.
  • Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Science or equivalent post-secondary education required. Must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program.
  • A.R.R.T. registered and current State license in radiography.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical internship and two (2) years of post-educational experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Requires a strong working knowledge of radiographic equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CPR certification
