Signature Healthcare's Brockton Hospital is hiring for a Per DiemRadiology Technologist (Rad Tech) in Brockton, MA.
Our recently renovated Brockton Hospital is a modern healthcare facility with a focus on superior patient care and safety. Following extensive renovations, the hospital is equipped with an advanced infrastructure to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community. Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Reviews orders and prepares patients for radiologic exam.
  • Perform radiographic examinations while adhering to radiology protocols and safety regulations.
  • Operate radiologic imaging equipment, portable units, and c-arms in compliance with ALARA principles.
  • Support radiologist as needed.
  • Record all patient information accurately in RIS.
  • Evaluate radiologic images for quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure adequate supplies in the Radiology department.
  • Clean exam room and equipment appropriately after each patient.
  • Ensure that imaging equipment is in good working condition and report equipment issues for timely repairs.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.
