Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology - Per Diem

As a per diem Radiation Therapist at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, you will work with Radiation Oncologists to deliver radiation therapy to patients in our world-class environment. Using age competency skills, you will communicate essential information to patients and family members which enables the patient to complete their course of therapy. With leading specialists in every field of medicine, the advances pioneered at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital have improved the lives of people everywhere.

This is a per diem day shift position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

  • Preferred Criteria
  • 3+ years of experience in all areas of radiation therapy including brachytherapy, immobilization fabrication
  • Experience with clinical set-ups and contours

Required Criteria

  • Graduate of American Management Association (AMA) approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
  • New York State Radiologic Technologist license
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
