Job Shift: Nights
Job Type: Per Diem
The Patient Care Tech assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT's and is cross-trained to Unit Associate or Monitor Technician. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

  • Assist in Patient Care Functions
  • Assists in Delivery of Indirect Patient Care Functions and Transport
  • Communication and Documentation of Activities
  • Leadership

Qualifications
Education:
  • High School Graduation or Equivalent and Nursing Assistant Course Work

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
  • Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Basic Life Support
  • (Basic EKG) If cross trained as a Monitor Technician (GSMC EKG test required)
  • Successful completion of GSMC EKG test
  • CPI due within 30 days of hire/transfer

Minimum Experience
  • Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience.
