Inova Alexandria hospital is looking for an experienced Perianesthesia (PACU) Nurse. Inova's Perianesthesia RNs work pre and post op; Phase 1 and 2. This is a Part Time (2x10 or 3x8 hour shifts) to cover hours from 8.00am-11.30pm with some on call night, weekend, and holiday requirements.

PACU Qualifications

  • One year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
  • RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required at hire; ACLS and PALS must be completed in the first 90 days.

PACU Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years PACU or Critical Care (ICU/ED) RN experience
