Per Diem RN II/III/IV Operating Room (ASC)

Job Title: Per Diem RN II/III/IV Operating Room (ASC)

Location: Memorial Villages

Department: ASC Administration

Job Type: Per Diem

Salary Range: $52.99 - $63.01/hr (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Responsibilities

RN II:

Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care. Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic. Communicates information effectively, appropriately, and with courtesy regarding patient conditions to those who require the information including, physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors. Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures. Perform safe and competent operating room nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures & AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) standards and or ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) standards.

RN III:

Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care. Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic. Communicates information effectively, appropriately, and with courtesy regarding patient conditions to those who require the information including, physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors. Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures. Perform safe and competent operating room nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures & AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) standards and or ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) standards. Will be expected to train and work in all service lines. Will be expected to train to scrub in one or more services. Will be responsible for precepting new employees and assuming the charge role when needed. Assists with education initiatives. Provides oversight of 1 service line.

RN IV:

Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care. Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic. Communicates information effectively, appropriately, and with courtesy regarding patient conditions to those who require the information including, physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors. Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures. Perform safe and competent operating room nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures & AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) standards and or ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) standards. Will be expected to train and work in all service lines. Will be expected to train to scrub in two or more services. Will be responsible for precepting new employees and assuming the charge role when needed. Contributes to process improvement and quality by auditing/tracking one Key Performance Indicator. Assists with education initiatives. Provides oversight of 2 service lines. Promotes team knowledge by providing 2 in-services per year.
