Job description

Ageless Cosmetic & Surgical Center is a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical facility dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in cosmetic and regenerative medicine. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Per Diem Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team.

Position Summary

The Per Diem Operating Room RN is responsible for providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures. The ideal candidate is a skilled clinician who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to patient safety, quality outcomes, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative process.
  • Serve as a circulating nurse during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning as appropriate.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient surgical environment.

Qualifications

  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience preferred.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in cosmetic, plastic surgery, orthopedic, pain management, or regenerative medicine procedures is a plus.
