This position is based in our Los Angeles office.
Description:
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to attorneys and staff. This on-site role supports all PCs, phones, AV equipment, IT peripherals, and IT Infrastructure in the office.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide on-site technical support for PCs, phones, IT peripherals and IT infrastructure within the office.
  • Accurately document incidents and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
  • Deliver technical support for meetings, conferences and events, both on-site and off-site, as needed.
  • Support office administration activities, projects and priorities.
  • Contribute to internal specialty support team and major IT initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams on projects and operational activities.
  • Respond to planned and unplanned power, HVAC, network and other office outages.
  • Travel on a limited basis as required.
  • Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law.
  • Special projects and duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite, or Microsoft 365.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a can-do attitude and follow-through skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Work well with others in a team environment requiring direct supervision.
  • Broad experience with server/network rooms (patching network equipment, racking servers, evaluating power and cooling issues.).
  • Strong customer services orientation.

Required Qualifications & Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or country equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Cisco VoIP phone and voicemail system.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting web conferencing - especially Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience using and supporting Apple and Android mobile devices and Oses.
  • Experience configuring and supporting printers and multifunction devices.
  • Experience using ServiceNow to log IT Incidents.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment.
  • Network troubleshooting knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications & Education:
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English
  • Experience working with a US company.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing as much as 50 lbs

The base salary range for this position is $30.60 - $45.90/hr. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, Holland & Knight provides bonus opportunities and an exceptional benefits package.
