Job description

Pediatric Hospitalist – Naperville, IL

Position: Pediatric HospitalistLocation: Naperville, ILType: Full‑Time/Part‑Time (PRN/Per Diem, Moonlighting)Compensation: $150/hour (rate determined by experience and expertise)Hospital: Edward Hospital, a Magnet‑certified pediatric center affiliated with the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient pediatric care and well newborn care for all age groups.
  • Co‑manage pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) patients in collaboration with on‑call Pediatric Intensivists.
  • Consult with a broad range of pediatric specialists and support interdisciplinary care.
  • Participate in 24‑hour in‑house neonatal and anesthesia support services.
  • Co‑operate with the hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Department for emergent admissions.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
  • Completion of Pediatric Residency; fellowship training in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is strongly preferred.
  • Prior inpatient hospitalist experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, small‑team environment.
