Job description

Per Diem Medical Nurse Practitioner

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center and offers the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. A commitment to excellence in diagnosis, treatment and education – these concepts are at the core of Hampton Behavioral Health Center's mission.

Responsibilities include general medical and psychiatric coverage that reflects new or ongoing medical problems and initial evaluations. These include: medical histories, physical exams, admission orders, etc. Psychiatric problems and needs will be addressed with the assistance and guidance of a senior staff psychiatrist. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care.

Qualifications Requirements: NJ licensed Nurse Practitioner with demonstrated medical experience and proven leadership Current DEA and CDS Current BLS Certification Strong clinical skills, and high motivation Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
