Job description

Iron Works is seeking an experienced Measure Technician to perform precise field measurements for our custom entry doors and windows. This customer-facing role is the critical first step in every job — accurate

measurements ensure our doors fit right the first time.


REQUIREMENTS

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience installing entry doors and windows

• Strong knowledge of rough openings, framing, flashing, and weatherproofing

• Ability to read architectural drawings and take precise field measurements

• Comfortable with tablets, measurement apps, and photo documentation

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Willingness to travel with some overnight stays required

• Professional appearance and strong communication with homeowners and builders


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform accurate field measurements at customer residences and job sites

• Document rough openings, elevations, swing directions, and site conditions

• Communicate findings clearly to CAD, production, and installation teams

• Identify installation challenges before jobs reach the shop floor

• Represent Iron Works USA professionally at every customer touchpoint


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $75,000 – $80,000 annual salary
