What You'll Do

As the House Supervisor, you'll provide leadership and oversight for hospital operations during your shift while supporting caregivers, physicians, patients, and families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership for clinical excellence, operational effectiveness, and patient-centered care
  • Making rounds throughout patient care areas and providing guidance, coaching, and support to clinical staff
  • Responding to codes and rapid response events while coordinating caregiver resources
  • Monitoring bed capacity and patient placement needs and assisting with transfer decisions
  • Collaborating with staffing coordinators, charge nurses, and department leaders to optimize staffing resources
  • Investigating incidents, facilitating resolution efforts, and supporting documentation processes
  • Serving as an administrative resource and decision-maker in the absence of department leadership or hospital administration
  • Interpreting hospital policies and procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Coordinating patient transfers to and from external facilities
  • Supporting mental health hold processes while protecting patient safety and legal rights
  • Collaborating with physicians, managers, caregivers, patients, families, and community partners to ensure seamless care delivery

What You'll BringRequired Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or ability to obtain within three years of hire or
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Leadership experience or leadership training strongly preferred

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire

Compensation & Benefits
