Join Our Intermediate Care IMCU as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Legacy Meridian Medical Center!

About Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center:
Located in the vibrant community of Tualatin, Oregon, Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and commitment to exceptional patient care. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including emergency care, maternity services, advanced imaging, STEMI care, and specialized stroke care as a certified Primary Stroke Center. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care close to home.

About IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit): The IMCU is a 16-bed unit providing care for a medically diverse patient population including cardiac patients, strokes and home ventilators. With an average census of 15 patients, we offer advanced care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Your Role as a Registered Nurse (RN): As a key member of our team, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care, working with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the best outcomes.


  • Provides patient care within an assigned department/unit

  • Functions as a member of the health care team in collaboration with and under the direction of the clinical manager or designee

  • Adheres to the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse

  • Performs all aspects of the nursing process:

    • Assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care

  • Follows established patient care standards set by Legacy Health System, including standards for patient assessment & patient transfer.


Education: 

  • As required by licensure. BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred. BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.

Experience:

  • One-year registered nursing experience or completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration. 
  • Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized.

Skills: 

  • Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community. 
  • Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.

  • Current applicable state RN license required.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required. 
  • ACLS and NIHSS preferred 

USD $54.37 - USD $81.21 /Hr.
