Per Diem (PD) Employee Guidelines- Work Hour Limitation
Leadership acknowledges that Per Diem (PD) employees are not permitted to work in excess of 1,820 hours per calendar year. - Scheduling Requirements for Applicants Seeking Extended Hours
PD applicants requesting to work more than 24 hours per week shall be required to fulfill one weekend per month or two weekend shifts per month, as determined by the operational needs of the unit. Additionally, such employees will be scheduled for two holidays per year, rotating between winter and summer assignments. - Traditional Per Diem Commitment
Applicants seeking a traditional PD schedule (approximately 16 hours per month) must commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week, or an equivalent of 16 hours per month. Final approval of this arrangement will be at the discretion of the hiring manager. - Experience Preference
A minimum of two years of nursing experience is preferred but not required. The hiring manager will determine eligibility based on the applicant's interview performance and relevant professional experience.
