Job description

Enterprise Electrical is seeking an experienced and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team for an exciting mission-critical data center project located in Cedar Rapids, IA. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery and equipment necessary for the construction and installation of electrical systems within a fast-paced and safety-oriented environment. Open Roles Compensation Structure:

Equipment Operator: $25 – $35 per hour (based on experience)

Daily Per Diem: $120 (Paid daily, 7 days a week)

Retention Bonus: $5.00 per hour - paid as a retention bonus for this project

Standard Schedule: 6/10s

Project Duration: 1 year+ with additional steady work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various types of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and forklifts.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated efficiently, safely, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment from transportation vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety meetings.

Requirements

License

  • Valid driver’s license
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain)
