Job description

Hourly Pay Range:
$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $1,000
  • Position: MRI Technologist II - Per Diem
  • Locations: Edward Hospital, 95th Street (Naperville), and Plainfield
  • Per Diem/PRN - As Needed
  • Hours: As Needed, as needed for on-call, weekends, and holidays

What you will do:
Operates MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
What you will need:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred
  • Previous MRI experience, required
  • Strong computer skills Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
  • Advanced techniques including cardiac and functional neuro protocols, preferred
  • At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology), or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certification.
  • Current CPR certification (BLS) issued the by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
