Job description

Seeking board-eligible/board-certified Per Diem General Cardiologist to join a top-notch, highly skilled team of 14 Cardiologists and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons at the Providence Heart Institute of Montana, located in the Providence St. Patrick Hospital. This 253-bed Level II trauma center has received the Premier Award for quality for Acute Myocardial Infarction as well as the Gold Seal of Approval for Stroke Centers. Enjoy unparalleled quality of life in the beautiful and welcoming city of Missoula, the heart of scenic Western Montana.

  • Flexible Per Diem schedule
  • Option to add remote reading of imaging when not on campus
  • 24-hour Hospitalist coverage
  • Responsibilities will include reading echo (including TEE)
  • Ideal candidate will be motivated, compassionate and have an excellent background in both training and clinical experience
  • Formal training and expertise in echocardiography required
  • Nuclear cardiology background a plus
  • Qualifies for retirement benefits
