Position Requirements

Description
Per Diem Anesthesiologist opportunity at UPMC Hanover in Hanover, PA . UPMC Hanover is accredited by The Joint Commission, including being a Certified Primary Stroke Center. In addition, UPMC Hanover has achieved the status of Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care, and Get With the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus.

Total Rewards
Hourly Rate: $250 per hour

Case Assignments
Diverse case mix including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, ENT and ophthalmology.
No cardiac or neuro cases. Limited pediatric cases.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Current medical licensure
ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
