Job Description
Currently looking for an SAP Developer - Level 3 for the SAP PI team in IT. The SAP Developer - Level 3 is responsible for: participating in gathering requirements and leading, designing, and providing guidance on recommendations; advising on system options, risk, cost versus benefits, and impacts on business processes; ensuring all systems are in line with IT long-term strategy; responsible for SAP solutions design and development that supports multiple enterprise applications and developing full life cycle business needs; analyzing architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs; coordinating, developing and participating in execution of test plans and leading end to end integration testing; participating in delivery of project and minor/major release; troubleshooting and leading the evaluation and design of the correction for complex incidents; ensuring solutions are in alignment with long term vision; providing guidance to other developers on identifying and implementing improvement opportunities that are in alignment with long term vision; translating between technical and business language, while appropriately adapting communication style and content to audience; providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members in multiple SAP technologies; providing technical guidance or business process expertise; maintaining a high level of technical competency regarding development and implementation tools, while staying abreast of new trends and future enhancements and leveraging best practices; understanding the development and architecture of PI and technical enterprise.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in PI integration including working in latest SAP versions PI 7.1 or higher, working with standard communication protocols, service oriented architecture, web service, performance tuning and code optimization, configuration/implementation of adapters (IDoc, EDI, RFC, JDBC, File, Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST) and design/configuration/support of BPMs • Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP architecture, design and development to enable review of the development team's work and guidance, as appropriate • Minimum of 4 PI upgrades • Minimum 4 years of development in ABAP • Minimum 3 years of experience of providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members with proven success on multiple enterprise-wide software development projects with support and delivery in a production support role in a medium to large business • Minimum 1 year of experience in process improvement, with an emphasis toward analytics and process management • Minimum 1 year of experience communicating technical issues/solutions to all levels of individuals, including managers, directors, and executives • Experience in complex SAP environments supporting multiple components • Work with Technical Team (Basis, System Administrators) for troubleshooting and analysis • SAP professional certification in PI, preferred • Experience in SolMan - ChaRM, preferred
