Job description

Position Summary
To serve our customers by being trained to perform the job duties of different positions within the sales team and also to provide coverage for these positions during absences.

Essential Functions
  • Delivers, stocks, rotates, displays and maintains all products at customer locations according to established standards.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with: customers and consumers at customer locations; Territory Account Managers and Territory Delivery Managers at Pepsi; and other internal employees at Pepsi (e.g. warehouse employees, sales equipment employees).
  • Invoices customers for sales; collects payment (e.g. cash, check).
  • Involves handling, stocking, and organizing alcoholic products.
  • Communicates with retailers and Pepsi management team on issues regarding pricing, products, programs and problems that may arise in the store.
  • Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws); wears all required personal protective equipment.
  • Maintains customer's product inventory by delivering the appropriate amount of product needed to satisfy customer's needs until the next scheduled delivery.
  • Maintains and completes required paperwork (e.g. DOT logs); maintains confidentiality of product pricing, promotions and other sensitive and confidential information.
  • Communicates with supervisors and co-workers about retailer situations in order to maintain established customer service standards.
  • Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required meeting workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
