Weekend Mission Event Driver

Drive with Purpose. Lead with Faith. Make an Impact

Organization: Midwest Mission
Schedule: Occasional weekends (you choose availability)
Travel Area: States selected by driver

Position Summary

This role supports Midwest Mission's weekend mission experiences at churches by coordinating and leading on-site mission activities and providing driving support. Individuals may choose which weekends they are available and which locations they are willing to travel to, offering exceptional flexibility while making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

Weekend Mission Experiences

  • Lead and facilitate mission experiences at host churches
  • Welcome, orient, and guide volunteer groups through hands-on mission projects
  • Set up and tear down mission stations and supplies
  • Ensure a positive, organized, and mission-focused environment

Occasional Driving & Logistics

  • Drive a non-CDL truck and trailer or if willing can drive box trucks that require a non-CDL Class C to and from church locations as needed
  • Load and unload trailers using a pallet jack
  • Secure loads and perform basic vehicle inspections
  • Coordinate arrival and departure times with Midwest Mission staff and host churches

Communication & Reporting

  • Serve as the primary Midwest Mission representative on site
  • Communicate clearly with church leaders and volunteers
  • Report participation numbers and kits packed after each event

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving a truck with a trailer or box truck (experience preferred)
