How you will make history here...

The Associate Manager, Operational Excellence is accountable for implementing the Campbell's Company Operational Excellence model as a way of working within the facility. This includes leading cross functional teams, leading continuous improvement workstreams, driving daily issue resolution and leading focus improvement events to drive performance improvements across key metrics. This is a critical role to optimizing supply chain improvements and improving the cost of product sold. This role requires close collaboration with key Supply Chain functions such as Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, Quality, Finance, Human Resources, and Logistics. This position will directly advise the site Director and site leadership team on all programs related to continuous improvement and root cause problem solving.

What you will do...

  • OPEX Teams:Lead & coach site OPEX teams to drive improvements across Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost. Lead Kaizen events to drive improvements and reduce losses. Support the deployment of all Campbell's Operational Excellence pillars.Ensure tactical implementation plans are adhered to and regular stakeholder check ins occur throughout the process to ensure program sustainability and track progress.
  • Capability Building:Work with the site leadership team to plan and build the OPEX program through training, coaching and leading by example. Execute OPEX capability training sessions for the site leadership team, front line leadership team and frontline employees. This position will be the site's lead trainer for all continuous improvement tools.
  • Cost Management:Ensure improvements identified are rolled into the plant enabler program to capture enabler savings. Track savings projects progress and performance to ensure improvements are sustained and long-term countermeasures are tracked and implemented. Will execute Zero Loss analysis to identify loss opportunities and build the enabler pipeline.
  • Leadership:Ability to coach, work collaboratively and successfully influence teams. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, integrity, trust and the ability to motivate. Strong analytical skills and business acumen. Ability to successfully work in a cross functional environment.


Who you will work with...

This position is responsible for deploying the Campbell's Operational Excellence strategy with plant employees and PLT and regional Operational Excellence team.

Responsibilities will include managing focus improvement projects, managing the site enabler cost savings program, leading the root cause problem solving program, training front line leaders and staff on continuous improvement tools, leading continuous improvement events, developing reports and systems to track facility performance and site progress against the companies Operational Excellence model.

What you bring to the table (must haves)...

  • HS Diploma or equivlalent
  • 2 years of cross-functional experience in manufacturing, OPEX, Lean, Six Sigma or TPM

It would be great to have (nice to haves)...

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, in Science, Business Management or Engineering concentration
  • Length of Experience: 4+ years of cross-functional manufacturing experience with a strong understanding of OPEX, Lean, Six Sigma and TPM.
  • Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (green or black belt)
  • Advanced use of analytical software including Power BI, Minitab & Excel
  • Experience in ERP systems, such as SAP or similar


Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$90,200-$124,100

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
