Key Accountabilities

  • 5+ Years Experience working in HCM Cloud payroll module and technical tools including end to end Payroll processing, Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) and Advanced Workforce Scheduling (AWS)
  • Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll techno-functional who has strong knowledge on Payroll configuration, extension, fast formulas, UDT, eligibility, costing, GL Interfacing & Information Elements.
  • Complete understanding about - Premiums - Rate per Hour, RRSP, RPP, Uniform Allowance, Vacation, Union Dues, Meal Allowance, Taxable Meal, Wages in Lieu
  • Hands on Configuration - Element Definition, Input values, Information Costing, Element Eligibility, costing of results elements - Costed, Fixed Costed, Distributed Costing, French Translation for the Balance name (which is same as base element name), Custom Balance Feeds, Formula Update, UDT Creation and update, EOY T4 and RL1 box feed mapping
  • Thorough experience on pay to post cycle, including but not limited to EOY processes for T4, RL1 and interfacing CRA, Revenue Quebec and all other payroll processes, Balance Adjustments Techno-Functional experience in Oracle HCM Cloud with expertise in the following areas - Core HR & Payroll is required.
  • Techno-Functional experience in Oracle HCM Cloud with expertise in any two of the following areas T&L, Redwood, Benefits or Absence Management, is good to have.
  • Configure Unions and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) related to new configurations and changes.
  • This position will be responsible for doing solution design, configure, unit testing & deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical support production issues, quarterly updates and End-Of-Year issues.
  • Strong knowledge in SQL and Oracle Fusion Technical like HCM Extracts, OTBI Reports, BI Publisher/Bursting, Fast Formula, DFF - Flex Fields configurations, Security Console, ESS Scheduler, HCM Data Loader scripts, HSDL, E-Mail/Workflow Notifications & Transaction controller.
  • Partner with project managers and business analysts to review and understand business requirements, recommend solutions, and provide level of effort estimates to complete configurations or personalization's to the application.
  • Understand detailed technical & functional design specifications for development objects.
  • Work closely with Business Owner and Business Analyst team to recommend areas of risk in application configurations, possible improvements, efficiency, optional methods, and best practices.
  • Responsible for building and supporting End-to-End Integration with external vendors for both Inbound and Outbound file transfers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidates will possess:

  • Education - Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT experience in supporting Oracle HCM systems.
  • 3+ years of Experience in Oracle HCM cloud Technical and Functional
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems.
  • Oracle HCM Cloud Development experience
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent client-facing writing, presentation and verbal communications skills.
  • Knowledge of Integrations with RPA automation tools like UI Path if good to have.
  • ITIL certification or applied knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong team player, Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Excellent creative and analytical skills with strong attention to details, and proven abilities to research and test new System features and functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bilingualism (English / Functional French) is an added advantage.

Working Conditions

  • Availability on occasion to work non-standard hours and be flexible concerning workdays.
  • Irregular work hours may be required during peak delivery periods.
  • Willingness to perform standby/on-call duties in support of 7/24 coverage as required.
