Job Summary:
The Manager, People Operations is responsible for leading the daily administration, delivery, and continuous improvement of employee programs, services, and operational processes that support the employee lifecycle and overall People strategy. This role oversees a broad range of human resources functions, including benefits administration, compensation, employee relations, employee records management, compliance, and other enterprise-wide initiatives.
The Manager, People Operations partners closely with leaders across the organization to ensure programs, policies, and processes are delivered effectively, consistently, and in alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with expertise in human resources operations, employee experience, and program management. Success in this role requires sound judgment, a customer-focused mindset, the ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Oversee daily operations of the People Operations teams in functions including, but not limited to, Benefits, Employee Relations, Regulatory and Compliance, and Policy Administration.
  • Partner with leaderships to navigate employee relations issues and assist with the development of staff, including conducting investigations, resolving conflicts and facilitating compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and procedures consistent with State and Local regulations.
  • Support employee engagement and retention strategies throughout the organization.
  • Oversee administration of all leave administration, including FMLA, State Sick Leave, and Disability.
  • Participate in the development, delivery and administration of people operations programs for employees.
  • Provide Executive leadership with organizational trends, making recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Assist with open enrollment, including updating benefit guides, auditing changes, and processing updates to PO systems.
  • Stay abreast of people operations trends affecting the corporation and department function and updates management as appropriate.
  • Provide support to leadership as needed for projects, programs, and meetings.

Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Business Management, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations with Employee Relations and/or Benefits Administration experience required.
  • Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations affecting employee benefit programs, employee relations, and leave of absence policies required.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft office products, particularly Excel preferred.
  • Previous experience with Benefits Administration and LOA processing strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working for a multi-state employer with State Leave Laws strongly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP designation preferred.

Technical Qualifications
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and process improvements, including automation or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Used AI tools responsibly within company, security, and compliance guidelines.
  • HRIS and Microsoft Office proficiency, including advanced Excel skills.

Base Salary Range: 95,000-$110,000
