This position requires a basic understanding of DoD Contracting, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player, proactive, will possess good analytical skills, will demonstrate problemโ€solving skills, and will be detailโ€oriented. Responsibilities Interfaces with external customers and internal business partners, conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration Examines proposal requirements and estimates, prepares bids, analyzes terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications Processes contractual documentation and reports, advises management of contractual rights and obligations, compiles and analyzes data, and maintains historical information Facilitates proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA or customer as required via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) Make decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressure Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant professional contracts experience; OR Master's degree with 3 years of relevant professional contracts experience Will consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree Knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications Active security clearance at the time of application Experience negotiating and administering various contract types, specifically with the DoD We offer flexible work arrangements to include a 9/80 Hybrid work schedule, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
