Hourly Client Specialist

Boulder County Community Services Department is seeking to hire multiple Hourly Client Specialists. Boulder County Community Services Department is seeking to hire multiple Joe Pelle Center Client Specialists Hourly/On-Call. The Joe Pelle Center (JPC) is a 24/7 facility that provides community based alternative sentencing, offering dignified and effective options to incarceration. These positions supervise clients and are responsible for operational and security elements at JPC. The JPC is a 252-bed alternative sentencing facility that houses non-residential and residential sentencing programs utilized in Boulder County.

We are seeking excited, progressive, creative, innovative and inspired individuals who can demonstrate the Community Justice Services (CJS) values of Courage, Compassion and Connection and deliver high quality services to clients at the Joe Pelle Center.

This is an hourly, non-benefited position that will work 8-28 hours per week, in a varied schedule depending on needs of shift coverage. As these are hourly positions, no set hours are guaranteed to applicants. Weekly minimum time commitment of one 8-hour shift with maximum time commitment up to five shifts a week depending on the needs of the facility and the availability of the applicant. These positions are intended to offer shift coverage and support for full-time employees. Applicants must be available and willing to work evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays. This position will work out of 3260 Airport Road, Boulder, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).

Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.

Hiring Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly

Tentative Hiring Timeline:

  • Second Round Interviews: Week of August 31st
  • Language Proficiency Test (if applicable): Week of September 7th
  • Reference Check: Week of August 31st
