Job description

Peerless is seeking an experienced Information System Security Engineer to provide full life cycle security engineering and support for C2ISR weapon systems. This position delivers on-site support at Robins AFB and ensures compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Combat Command (ACC) cybersecurity requirements across acquisition and sustainment programs. Key Responsibilities include: * Provide system security engineering and services throughout all phases of system life cycle management. * Serve as the focal point for weapon system cybersecurity activities and coordination. * Interface with Authorizing Official (AO) offices to ensure alignment with existing and evolving security policies and procedures. * Develop, document, and maintain system security processes, procedures, and policy recommendations for ACC approval. * Oversee enterprise-level security for all sub-systems within the weapon system. * Identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities; recommend infrastructure and software modifications to improve security posture. * Ensure network and system designs incorporate DoD Information Assurance (IA) vulnerability solutions and properly mitigate identified threats. * Design and assess security architecture for C2ISR systems, including specialized environments with varying classification levels and data protection requirements. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field. * Minimum 3 years of Cybersecurity Engineering experience. * Security+ certification required. * Active TS/SCI security clearance. * Experience with DCGS, SIGINT, GEOINT, or Open Architecture (OA) preferred but not required.
