Proposed Salary Range: $11.48 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time Only (not to exceed 25 hours per week)
Work Location: On-site (No Hybrid or Remote)
Shift(s): Monday & Tuesdays (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
The Production Assistant assists with assembly and/or packaging, in a fast-paced, high-speed environment. Tasks are primarily manual or semi-automated, with limited automation. Jigs and fixtures are commonly used to ensure components meet dimensional and product specification requirements.
A Production Assistant should have the capability to read and interpret process information; and understand the impact their actions have on the quality objective.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assembly
- Assemble parts per work instructions, ensuring correct positioning and orientation.
- Perform welding, soldering, taping, and connector installation as required.
- Operate automated equipment for welding, soldering, and gluing.
- Conduct visual inspections and use testing equipment to verify quality.
- Maintain tools and interpret date codes as needed.
Packaging
- Package products according to specifications and perform quality checks.
- Load/unload items using conveyors, hoppers, and pallet jacks.
- Replenish and mount packaging supplies; operate machinery for labeling and sealing.
- Record production data and inspect final packaging for accuracy.
- Report quality issues and maintain detailed logs of output and test results.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure work instructions. Ability to write complete daily written reports. Ability to communicate effectively after groups of customers, vendors, or employees of organization.

Ability to read, to understand, and follow instructions and operation manuals.
