Position Summary
Postdoc Research Associate position is available in Lineberger Cancer Center. Research topics include investigation into the molecular mechanisms by which cancer-associated human papillomaviruses (HPV) manipulate DNA repair pathways and avoid innate immune responses to promote viral replication and persistence, a major risk factor for cancer development. Additional projects are available to investigate mechanisms by which the HPV life cycle is epigenetically regulated. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a strong background in molecular/cellular biology, virology, immunology, and/or related field.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
PhD in virology, molecular biology, cell biology or related field.
