Dell Children's is looking for a full-time experienced APRN or PA to join our elite Pediatric Surgery APP team!

Location: Austin, Texas

Facility Name: Dell Children's Medical Center

Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating

Incentives: CME allowance + dedicated CME days Malpractice coverage with tail

What You Will Do

Join our established team of 10 physicians and 20 APPs

Practice setting: inpatient and outpatient

Employed position within a nonprofit health system

Deliver comprehensive pediatric surgical care by collaborating closely with surgeons and the Surgery/Trauma APP team to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions.

Empower families and hospital providers through dedicated education and counseling on preventative health, specialized treatment plans, and post-discharge care.

Champion accurate patient care journeys by documenting clinical assessments and treatments to ensure high-quality, seamless continuity of care.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Education:

Master's degree of Nursing required.

Additional Preferences

Acute Care Certification for all APRN candidates
