Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics

Location: Peterborough, NH
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday Rotation: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (required)
Pay Rate: ~$39/hour (midpoint, based on experience)


Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics Office Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care in an outpatient pediatric setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while working closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care for pediatric patients.

This role also includes supervising and guiding LPNs and Medical Assistants while supporting patient education, care coordination, and clinical workflow efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct pediatric patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to develop individualized pediatric care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and hospital protocols
  • Maintain accurate and timely pediatric patient documentation
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to providers
  • Educate patients and families on pediatric care, treatment plans, and preventive health
  • Support and guide clinical staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) in care delivery
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in New Hampshire or Compact License (Required at submission)
  • Minimum experience required (new graduates not accepted)
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical equipment
  • Current BLS (AHA) Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient pediatric environment


Preferred Experience

  • Pediatrics nursing experience
  • Outpatient clinic experience
  • Experience supervising or guiding clinical staff (LPNs/Medical Assistants)
