Job description

Position Overview
We are seeking a Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our growing ENT division at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside our newly appointed division chief and help build a premier pediatric ENT program serving the Central Florida region.
Position Highlights
  • Join a Growing Team: Work with our newly established division chief to expand our pediatric ENT services and shape the future of the program
  • Comprehensive Pediatric Practice: Focus exclusively on pediatric otolaryngology with access to a robust referral base across Central Florida
  • State-of-the-Art Facilities: Access to modern surgical suites, advanced diagnostic equipment, and dedicated pediatric operating rooms
  • Academic Opportunities: Potential for teaching and research involvement with affiliated medical education programs
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with pediatric subspecialists across multiple disciplines including pulmonology, allergy/immunology, genetics, and craniofacial surgery
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient pediatric otolaryngology care
  • Perform surgical procedures including but not limited to: tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, ear tube placement, endoscopic sinus surgery, airway reconstruction, and head and neck procedures
  • Manage complex pediatric ENT conditions including airway disorders, hearing loss, congenital anomalies, and chronic rhinosinusitis
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care teams for complex cases
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and program development
  • Participate in call rotation to provide emergency ENT coverage
Qualifications:
  • Education: M.D., D.O.
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA Otolaryngology Residency and Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology
  • Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
