WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Utica, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Utica, NY.  


Job Function:  

  • Day Shift, Mid Shift and Night Shift.
  • 6:30am to 7pm/ 2:30pm to 3am/ 10:30pm to 11am.
  • Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.  
  • Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.  
  • Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention.  
  • Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.  
  • Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.  

Job Requirements:

  • Active NYS License  
  • Floating Required  
  • 2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience.
  • Current AHA ACLS , BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
