Voodoo Brewery Erie is looking to add a part-time bartender to our team for coverage and peak event shifts. This is a great fit for an experienced bartender who wants occasional shifts, extra income, and the chance to work busy events without needing a full weekly schedule.
This role will help cover call-offs, vacations, high-volume weekends, private events, holidays, and major downtown events such as Celebrate Erie.
Pay:
Tipped bartender wage + tip pool
Additional event shift opportunities available during peak weekends and special events.
Responsibilities include:

  •  Serving beer, cocktails, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages 
  •  Providing fast, friendly guest service at the bar and patio 
  •  Using Toast POS to ring in orders and manage tabs 
  •  Checking IDs and following responsible alcohol service standards 
  •  Supporting QR/table orders and patio service when needed 
  •  Maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized bar 
  •  Helping with side work, restocking, glassware, ice, and closing duties 
  •  Working as part of the team during high-volume events 
Ideal candidates are:

  •  Experienced bartenders or strong service-industry candidates 
  •  Reliable and willing to pick up shifts as needed 
  •  Available for some evenings, weekends, holidays, and major events 
  •  Comfortable working in a fast-paced bar/restaurant environment 
  •  Friendly, calm under pressure, and team-focused 
  •  Able to follow alcohol service, ID, cash handling, and tip pool policies 
  •  RAMP certification preferred, or willingness to complete certification 
Schedule:
Part-time, as-needed coverage. This position is ideal for someone with flexible availability who can help cover call-offs, vacations, events, and peak business periods.
Must be 18 or older due to alcohol service responsibilities.
