As a Peace Corps Photography professional, your daily responsibilities often include capturing high-quality images of volunteers, projects, and host communities to document and promote the organization's impact. You may coordinate photo shoots, conduct interviews for context, and ensure you follow ethical guidelines when photographing local populations. Additionally, you'll often edit and catalog photos, provide visuals for digital and print communications, and occasionally collaborate with communications or field staff to develop storytelling content. The role frequently requires travel to various sites, adaptability to changing schedules, and responsiveness to urgent photo requests. Teamwork, as well as independent initiative, are both important, as you'll interact with diverse groups while also managing solo assignments.
