Job Summary:
Performance Drone Works (PDW) is building the next generation of tactical robotic systems used across defense, national security, and public safety missions. They are seeking an IT Support Engineer II to provide reliable end-user support and contribute to the day-to-day operations of their IT environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handle Tier 1/2 incidents involving advanced endpoint issues.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using logs and remote tools.
• Manage device imaging and deployment workflows.
• Write and maintain scripts (PowerShell/Bash).
• Administer Entra /Azure AD identity and access workflows.
• Support endpoint security tools, patching, and encryption.
• Troubleshoot DNS/DHCP/VPN/Wi‑Fi issues.
• Participate in Incident/Problem/Change processes.
• Coordinate with security and engineering teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years enterprise technical support experience.
• Expert Windows/macOS troubleshooting.
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi).
• Write reliable scripts for inventory, cleanup, policy checks.
• Experience with Entra ID.
• Knowledge of endpoint security practices.
• Designs/optimizes Intune /JAMF device profiles, pilot tests.
• Translates technical detail for non-technical users, proactive updates to KB.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred:
• Network+, Security+, ACSP, or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Enterprise deployment experience.
• Experience collaborating with SecOps.
