Northwest Physicians Group, the employed group of Northwest Texas Healthcare System, is recruiting a BC/BE Family Physician for a position at their Primary Care Center (PCC). Recently voted the Best Health Clinic in Amarillo by local TV viewers, the Primary Care Center is a modern, state-of-the-art clinic designed to provide high quality, compassionate care to the community and region.

Highlights:

  • New physician will be busy quickly due to large patient panel and wait times
  • The PCC has 19 exam rooms, onsite x-ray, and in-house laboratory

Responsibilities:
  • Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region
  • Provide comprehensive primary and preventative care to patients of all ages
  • Treat acute illnesses and manage chronic diseases
  • Coordinate care including referral to specialists and other health professionals

Requirements:
  • BC/BE Family Medicine required
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency required
  • Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain
  • Clean professional background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate bedside manner
