Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must complete Supervisor-in-Charge application.
  • High School diploma or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Must have current CNA certification or completed PCA training.
  • Must be familiar with state regulations and willing to work with state inspections in the survey/monitoring process.
  • On an annual basis, must complete 12 hours of continuing education credits related to the management of Assisted Living homes and care of geriatric and disabled residents.
  • Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members.
  • Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors.
  • Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.
