We are hiring for 2nd Shift Quality Control Technicians (2:00pm-1:30am or when production is done) to ensure we maintain Quality Above all Else in our Baltimore offices.

Job Description:
  • Tests products for temperatures throughout production
  • Visually inspects products at various stages of production
  • Selects products for overall quality
  • Visually inspects packages for proper dates, codes, seals, and gas mixtures
  • Verifies correct net weight of product
  • Tests pickle solution and seasoning solutions for salt, PH, and specific gravity
  • Observes employees to ensure they are following good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
  • Observes employees to ensure they are following "HACCP" critical control points
  • Records relevant information on food tags
  • Reviews hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP) records for critical control points as it relates to how the product is cooked

Secondary Functions:
  • Follow safe work processes
  • 70% standing, 30% sitting
  • Interacts with supervisors and co-workers regarding findings and recommendations
  • May lift up to 50lbs
  • Works in cold environment (about 30 degrees)
  • Use of both hands
  • Use of Microsoft Office

Minimum Requirements
  • Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma: college degree preferred
  • 1-2 years' experience in Quality Control or Assurance
  • Understanding of OSHA and/or USDA desired
  • Experience in a meat production facility a plus
