Job description

ADP is hiring a Payroll Specialist for our Portuguese market.

In this role, you will work with a portfolio of Portuguese payroll clients based all over the world from 1 to 2000 employees.

Manage the assigned client portfolio, complying with the deadlines agreed in each process and ensuring optimum quality in the results delivered.

Ensure legal compliance, in accordance with current regulations, in all processes carried out and proactively seek improvements that can ensure greater quality or efficiency in the service.

Participate in those internal projects that the company may assign to implement new tools or processes.

Ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, compliance and documentation, process improvements, receiving updates on tax laws, benefit plans, and deductions, Staying updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices. What you'll do:

Client service management. specific requirements, requests relating to the service management process, as well as legal aspects.
Resolution and management of incidents arising from the service
Conducting regular meetings with the clients in charge: agreeing and updating the payroll calendar and daily processes agreed with the client.
Review and preparation of data relating to administrative processes for payroll processing. (Performing functional tests on the platform/s).
Processing the client's payroll and performing the necessary controls defined by the department to ensure the quality of the process and service to the client.
Management of the client's rental period
Carrying out and sending periodic reports related to the payroll process (IRS, social security files, payroll accounting reconciliation ....).
