Role Overview
Seeking a Manager / Senior Manager of Special Projects to lead core financial planning, reporting, and operational initiatives. This role combines FP&A leadership, payroll-related financial oversight, and cross-functional project execution. Ideal for a hands-on finance professional with strong Vena expertise and end-to-end financial operations experience.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Planning
Lead P&L analysis, including variance reporting and actionable insights.
Own forecasting processes, financial modeling, and cross-functional alignment.
Manage the annual budgeting cycle utilizing Vena for planning and reporting.
Prepare and present financial reporting packages to senior leadership.
Provide oversight of payroll from a financial accuracy and reporting standpoint.
Perform payroll-related audits and validations tied to financial statements.
Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure alignment between payroll, budgets, and actuals.
Oversee expense approvals and enforce policy compliance.
Manage cost accounting activities, including analysis of cost drivers and trends.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce spend, and enhance controls.
Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives as a key member of the finance team.
Support system enhancements, process improvements, and operational finance projects.
Respond to ad hoc analysis and strategic priorities from senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
5+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience
Strong proficiency with Vena (required)
Working knowledge of payroll processes and related audit controls
Experience with cost accounting and full P&L ownership
Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills
