Position Summary

Payroll Director This is a full-time, in-person role located in Brooklyn, NY with a salary range of $100k - $150k. The position requires an experienced, detail-oriented professional to lead and manage overall payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing while maintaining strict compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Execution: Oversee and process biweekly payroll for a workforce of 800+ employees.

  • Legal Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.

  • System Management: Manage payroll systems and collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline data flow and accuracy.

  • Audit Readiness: Maintain payroll policies, procedures, and documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.

  • Process Improvement: Lead payroll-related projects, including system upgrades, automation, and reporting improvements.
