You will spend your day creating documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including taking concise meeting notes, assisting with requirement gathering and implementation, and supporting testing efforts to ensure business and technical needs are met. You'll also build your understanding of departmental processes and compliance, contribute to administrative and production support, and communicate effectively while collaborating with diverse teams and gaining exposure to leadership.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Business Systems Analyst II: $70,000 - $75,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Business Systems Analyst III: $75,000 - $83,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Business Systems Consultant I: $83,000 - $95,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Create documentation throughout the project lifecycle including taking concise meeting notes, assisting in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements, and assisting with implementation.   
  • Translating business needs into user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Build your understanding of the department's business processes, compliance, and workflows and apply that knowledge to your daily activities. May include administrative and production support.   
  • Assist with creation of test plans, test scripts, and performs manual or automated testing for enhancements, upgrades and on-going maintenance to ensure that business, technical, and functional requirements are being met.   
  • Communicate and present information effectively, both through written communications and verbally.   
  • You will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge of Workplace Solutions, work with diverse teams and have exposure to leadership.   

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Understanding the business and technical processes needed to meet/exceed business objectives, including familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SAFe or similar delivery frameworks.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements
  • Experience creating user stories, or requirements that support modern interface development.
  • Exposure business analysis/project management techniques, processes and tools.   
  • Ability to organize and deliver tasks and projects in a timely manner.  
  • Ability to work effectively with developers, product owners, business stakeholders, and executive leadership/
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Current or prior experience working with API's.
  • Experience with GSAP
  • Experience creating user stories, or requirements that support modern interface development.
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder- centered design practices.
  • Prior experience working in the insurance industry.  
  • Prior experience working with Mutual of Omaha's Workplace Solutions systems and business processes.
