Job description

Paychex is reimagining how businesses manage their workforce by bringing payroll, HR, benefits, and advisory services together into a single connected HCM platform. As Paychex and Paycor come together, we're combining innovative technology, data-driven insights, AI, and human expertise to help organizations work smarter, support their people, and achieve better business outcomes. This is an exciting time to join our team as we continue to invest in innovation, simplify client experiences, and shape the future of work. At Paychex, you'll have the opportunity to grow your career, make a meaningful impact, and be part of something bigger as One Paychex.

Overview

Expand relationships. Deliver real business impact.

HR Solutions Sales is where relationships turn into long-term value. You’ll partner with existing clients to uncover opportunities, elevate conversations, and partner to deliver integrated HR solutions that help businesses navigate HR, compliance, and workforce challenges.

This is a consultative, cross-functional sales role—designed for experienced sellers who can connect the dots across HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance. You’re not just selling services—you’re helping clients navigate complexity and get more value from their partnership with Paychex.

Every conversation deepens trust. Every solution expands impact. Every win strengthens your career.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Grow existing client relationships while identifying needs and expanding adoption of HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance solutions
  • Sell Administrative Services Organization (ASO) solutions, including HR guidance, compliance support, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Lead consultative conversations with business owners and decision-makers to uncover challenges and align solutions
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions
  • Manage a consultative sales cycle focused on upselling and expanding within your existing client base
  • Balance account growth with targeted prospecting to drive additional opportunities

What It Takes to Win

  • 5+ years of professional experience with proven success in complex or solution-based sales
  • Ability to lead consultative, value-driven conversations beyond payroll into broader HR solutions
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Presence, adaptability, and confidence engaging business owners and decision-makers —comfortable challenging perspectives, navigating conflict, and negotiating outcomes
  • Experience collaborating across teams to deliver integrated outcomes
  • Leadership experience or exposure to cross-functional selling environments preferred

Why This Role

  • Uncapped earning potential with strong opportunity to grow revenue within an established client base
  • Highly consultative role where you operate as a trusted advisor, not a transactional seller
  • Opportunity to expand relationships and drive measurable impact across a large, existing client portfolio
  • Access to a broad, flexible HR solutions offering designed for real business needs—without a full PEO model
  • Clear path to grow your career across multiple sales and leadership opportunities

If you’re a consultative, relationship-driven seller ready to expand impact and operate at a higher level, this is where you grow next.
