Description
The successful candidate will work closely with Apple business and technical teams across regions, as well as external payments partners and other 3rd parties. Much of this interaction will be with regional and global teams in other locations and other time zones, so excellent communication and collaboration skills are key.
The role includes responsibility for all aspects of a project including: Strong influence and persuasion skills along with excellent configuration and development skills in order to seamlessly integrate SAP Retail and front end solutions. Work closely with Point of Sale (POS), Data Warehouse, ABAP, Basis and other teams during design and implementation of SAP Retail functionalities to support Apple Retail Business. Supporting the business during requirements gathering to understand the needs of the project. Level of effort and scoping, including careful management of change requests. Creating and managing the project plan, deliverables, dependencies, risks and mitigation plan. Ensuring project scope is clearly defined and resources, budget and timeline are adequate to deliver the required solution. Driving the functional and technical gap analysis. Driving scalable and flexible designs, ensuring adherence to global design principals, security and compliance standards, as well as documentation standards. Design governance and solution architecture in a complex payments landscape. Issue tracking and driving issue resolution across teams. Status reporting within the team and upwards to business and technical management groups. Ensuring adequate test cycles are defined and executed to support a smooth production launch. Managing cutover and implementation activities across multiple teams, both business and technical. Tracking issues and managing scope of changes during warranty support to ensure a successful handover to the production support team.","responsibilities":"As the SAP Project Manager, responsibilities include managing mid to large sized SAP green field projects in Apple Retail space, involving design and configuration of the SAP FICO modules. Demonstrable ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure without direct supervision.
Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects working closely with multiple business and technical teams.
Ability to manage scope and timeline of multiple projects in parallel, with minimal supervision.
Experience or exposure to SAP FI and SD integration and configuration within ECC and SAP IS Retail
Experience with implementing Web Based applications using SAP Portal landscape
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
SOH or S/4 HANA experience with be an added advantage
Ability to deliver high quality solutions in an environment with high expectations and challenging timelines.
Ability to collaborate with other teams in order to resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of Accounting Principles a plus
Minimum Qualifications
5 years hands-on functional design and configuration experience, including detailed specifications for user exits, utilities, interfaces, reports, etc.
5 years SD functionality experience throughout the order to cash process, including billing and integration with FI/CO.
5 years of experience in payments processing, including credit cards, loans, wire transfer, and mobile payments.
BS or MS degree in Business or Technology or equivalent years of work experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,600 and $263,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
