As a Payments Relationship Manager II within our Pricing and Loyalty & Retention Team, you will take on the responsibility of conducting pricing reviews and spearheading client retention initiatives. Your role will encompass the development of robust client relationships, comprehensive pricing reviews, and the creation of strategies aimed at boosting client satisfaction and loyalty. Leveraging your consultative skills and payments expertise, you will tackle the challenges associated with merchant acquiring and provide value-added solutions that align with and exceed clients' business objectives. This will result in enhanced client retention and a positive client experience.

Job responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive pricing reviews and financial analysis to help clients optimize acquiring cost, promoting client satisfaction and retention
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure a high level of support for the client, including resolving software, hardware, pricing, contractual, risk, compliance, and regulatory inquiries
  • Serves as trusted advisor, leveraging core knowledge, to recommend and promote banking and payment processing solutions to clients to ensure a seamless client experience across Chase
  • Diagnose client issues, providing solutions and resolving with urgency
  • Consult on merchant acquiring products and services, aligning solutions to clients' needs
  • Protects the firm by following sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatory requirements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong knowledge of the merchant services industry, products and services and diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts
  • Demonstrate ability to grow revenue and retain client relationships through effective use of relationship management and client consulting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven cross-functional partnership and resourcefulness to solve customer needs
  • Strong written, presentation, contract negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to understand client needs and deliver exceptional service
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite with a high emphasis in Excel and other business-related database programs, i.e., Salesforce
  • High Level of integrity and professionalism, and compliance with established controls and regulations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's and Master's Degree
  • 5+ years payments industry or relevant experience
